What is a brand film?

A brand film is one story-driven video, usually two to three minutes long, built around your company instead of a single product. It answers the questions every new customer has before they reach out: Who Are You? and Why Are You Worth Trusting?

The film becomes the centerpiece of your website and the video you send to every new lead. Good ones keep working for years.

Who brand films are for

Brand films work best for medium to large companies at a turning point:

  • Your brand feels confusing. People don't quite get what you do or what makes you different, and you need one clear story.

  • You're redesigning your website. A new site needs a film at the top of the homepage that shows the world who you are.

  • You're launching something big. A new product line, a rebrand, or an anniversary is the right moment to tell your story well.

  • You build products people love. Outdoor and adventure brands especially, where the feeling around the product matters as much as the specs.

What's included

Every brand film is a full production, handled by one team from first idea to final cut:

  • A finished brand film, typically two to three minutes

  • Creative brainstorming and a strategic plan before any filming

  • Pre-production: concept, script or interview outline, locations and scheduling

  • Multiple shoot days, with a producer, director of photography and gaffer on larger projects

  • Editing, color grading and sound design

  • Final files formatted for your website, social media and YouTube channel

Need short versions for Instagram and Reels? Pair your brand film with social media content and we'll cut them from the same shoot.

Brand film FAQs

How long is a brand film?

Most run two to three minutes. That's long enough to tell a real story and short enough that people watch to the end.

How long does a brand film take to make?

Plan on one to two months from the first call to final delivery. Larger projects with more shoot days take longer.

What's the difference between a brand film and a commercial?

A commercial is 15 to 30 seconds and sells one product or service. A brand film is longer and tells the story of your whole company. Many clients get both from the same shoot.

Do you work outside Greenville?

Yes. Most of our local work is within three to four hours of Greenville, including Atlanta and Charlotte. We've also filmed in Alaska, Wyoming and Texas when the project called for it.

What do you need from us?

About an hour for the creative brainstorm, access to the people and places that tell your story, and feedback during editing. We handle everything else.

Ready to tell your story?

Tell us about your company and what you want people to know. We'll get back to you within one business day.
